Sweet Notes Policies
Cancellation: Cancellation must be made 24 hours in advance by email or telephone. A makeup will then be scheduled for the lesson. Any classes cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or are a no show will be charged. Sweet Notes will do its best to fit you into an alternate time that day at owner’s discretion.
Lesson Times: Times booked are set aside just for each student. Any student that is late forfeits the time lost and continues the lesson until the end of their scheduled slot. This is to keep things running smoothly and to prevent any student after from also being made late. Students are welcome to wait at the end of lessons if they need to be picked up, please note especially late pickups may be charged for the time.
Makeups: Any owed makeups due to student cancellations must be made up within 30 days unless by prior arrangement.
Payment: Payment is due prior to the first of the group of paid lessons. Late payments will result in a late fee of $25. Ongoing payments are due by the first lesson of the month due. Full month payment guarantees 4 lessons, in the instance of a 5 lesson month where one of the lessons is a major holiday, etc. one of the 5 lessons may be cancelled and still considered a full month.
Discontinuing Lessons: 30 days written notice is required to stop lessons. Notice should be emailed to [email protected]. If you cancel with less notice you will be charged for the remaining lessons scheduled in the next 30 days. (To owner’s discretion a hold may be placed on your account credit to continue lessons)
Materials: Students should come to lessons prepared to play with their instrument, music/books, assignment book, and any other relevant materials. Applicable music books and materials are expected to be purchased as needed. Sweet Notes is happy to help procure materials!
